FX Sales Dealer – Institutional Banking

About the role

The FX Sales Dealer will manage the delivery of foreign‑exchange products to strategic and transactional institutional clients. You will act as the first point of contact, ensuring a high‑quality service while supporting ANZ’s funding and liquidity needs in Tonga.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve individual revenue and turnover targets by proactively servicing institutional and commercial customers with a full range of FX products.
• Monitor and manage nostro and settlement accounts to maintain the bank’s funding and liquidity profile.
• Develop new business and nurture existing client relationships through efficient and accurate FX service.
• Maintain internal product partner relationships and ensure smooth operational processes.
• Handle administrative tasks such as deal processing, report writing, and other departmental duties.
• Identify and implement improvements to business models, product offerings, and operational processes.
• Ensure compliance with all financial and non‑financial risk metrics, bank policies, and regulatory guidelines.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of FX markets and products, including vanilla and derivative instruments.
• Experience in institutional sales or trading environments.
• Ability to work within risk, credit, legal, and operational limits.
• Excellent client‑facing skills and a focus on delivering superior customer experience.
• Knowledge of funding and liquidity management in a banking context.
