About the role
The FX Sales Dealer will manage the delivery of foreign‑exchange products to strategic and transactional institutional clients. You will act as the first point of contact, ensuring a high‑quality service while supporting ANZ’s funding and liquidity needs in Tonga.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve individual revenue and turnover targets by proactively servicing institutional and commercial customers with a full range of FX products.
- Monitor and manage nostro and settlement accounts to maintain the bank’s funding and liquidity profile.
- Develop new business and nurture existing client relationships through efficient and accurate FX service.
- Maintain internal product partner relationships and ensure smooth operational processes.
- Handle administrative tasks such as deal processing, report writing, and other departmental duties.
- Identify and implement improvements to business models, product offerings, and operational processes.
- Ensure compliance with all financial and non‑financial risk metrics, bank policies, and regulatory guidelines.
Required profile
- Strong understanding of FX markets and products, including vanilla and derivative instruments.
- Experience in institutional sales or trading environments.
- Ability to work within risk, credit, legal, and operational limits.
- Excellent client‑facing skills and a focus on delivering superior customer experience.
- Knowledge of funding and liquidity management in a banking context.
